MPA Skills is in the business of learning. Life-long learning. We provide an extensive and ever developing range of innovative training programs for the industry. These are presented in state of the art facilities and on-the-job training.

MPA Skills provides everything from pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs; to license and registration courses; post trade training programs. Whatever career stage you are in, we can provide the training and resources to make the most of your working life.

In 2009 MPA Skills introduced a new workplace assessment program entitled "Recognising Workplace Competence" in which we are working towards a workplace training culture for apprenticeship training in Western Australia. Our aim is to systematically evolve the training culture to a more work-based mode. MPA Skills has identified a delivery mode which is structured to accommodate on-the-job assessment and/or validation of competency in the workplace.

In 2010 MPA Skills made a commitment to deliver workplace assessment for all apprentice training as well as introducing Skills Tracker to apprenticeship training. MPA Skills is the first training provider to introduce Skills Tracker to the plumbing and painting industries. Skills Tracker is an online system for continuously tracking and evaluating off-the-job and on-the-job experience.

Our Facilities

We have custom designed facilities at Maylands and Bayswater. Our Maylands campus is conveniently located close to the Maylands train station. The Bayswater campus is only a few minutes walk from the Bayswater train station. Both campuses provide state of the art training facilities that will impress you!
 

Customer Service with a Difference

Our staff are knowledgeable and are always happy to help. Our trainers/assessors have "hands on" industry experience and ongoing training and involvement in industry ensures that skill and knowledge levels are constantly maintained.
