School based Pre-apprenticeships allow students in Years 11 or 12 to complete a Pre- apprenticeship while also completing the Western Australian Certificate of Education. Under these arrangements the student is both a full-time student and they will complete their Pre-Apprenticeship

• Students attend the John Forrest Trade Training Centre for 2 days each week (Thu& Fri)
• Remaining 3 days students attend their own school
