INTRODUCTION:
This course has been developed as a Certificate III apprenticehip
course that aligns to the CPC08 Construction, Plumbing and Services
Integrated Framework Training Package.
ABOUT THIS COURSE
This course provides training in all aspects of painting and decorating
including applying paint and wallpaper, specialty finishes and basic
skills and techniques.
This course is a 3 year apprenticeship which will give you the
practical skills and knowledge of the painting and decorating industry.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENT:
You must be able to read and write documents and understand maths
concepts to a level required to complete year 10 (early in the program
your skills will be checked). If you are entering this program as
an apprentice under Australian Apprenticeships arrangements, you
must be employed in the industry and you must register with an Australian
Apprenticeships Centre (AAC) prior to enrolment.

This course is AUSTUDY, ABSTUDY and YOUTH ALLOWANCE approved.
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL):
MPA Skills can provide RPL as any prior learning can result in
the awarding of credit for a unit of competency or for a whole course.
Under the guidelines for mutual recognition, any relevant competencies
achieved through previous training can be credited against our courses.
