GENERAL AIMS:

An understanding of the minimum requirements of Backflow Prevention, as required by the Water Authority of Western Australia.

An understanding of the various mechanical devices, their specific uses, and testing requirements.

To provide the specific requirements for the installation of break tanks (water storage tanks) which include, air gap requirements, spill level requirements and overflow requirements.
