Painting Pre Apprentice Courses

Certficate II in Painting & Decorating (Pre Apprenticeship)

This course targets those wishing to enter the painting and decorating trade. Successful completion will provide direct articulation into an indentured apprenticeshp (Certificate III) in the painting and decorating trade. Successful completion will also provide a six month reduction in the nominal term for the associated certificate apprenticeship.

Couse Outline

CPC30608

This course is a Certificate III apprenticehip course. It aligns to the CPC08 Construction, Plumbing and Services Integrated Framework Training Package. It is a course developed to meet the declared trades legislation of WA and to meet the needs of the painting and decorating sector.

On successful completion of this course a student will receive a AQF Certificate in painting and decorating. A qualified Tradesperson can then continue post trade studies to gain the Painters Registration and various other Post trade courses.


Pre-Apprentice Scholarship

A $500.00 scholarship is available to all students who successfully complete their Pre Apprenticeship course.

This scholarship is subsidised by the Construction Training Fund

MPA Skills can provide Recognition of Prior Learning which can result in the awarding of credit for a module or for a whole course. Please call us on (08) 9471 6600 to enquire about Recognition of Prior Learning. Under guidelines for Mutual Recognition, any relevant competencies achieved through previous training can be credited against our courses. Please contact us for more details.
