Plumbing Pre Apprenticeship Courses

Certificate II in Plumbing and Gasfitting Pre-Apprenticeship

This course targets those wishing to enter the plumbing and gas fitting trades. Successful completion will provide direct articulation into an indentured apprenticeship (Certificate III) in plumbing and gasfitting trades.

Successful completion of this course provides a six month reduction in the nominal term for the associated apprenticeship.

Certificate III in Plumbing

This course has been developed as a Certificate III apprenticehip course that aligns to the CPC08 Construction, Plumbing and Services Integrated Framework Training Package. It is a course developed to meet the declared trades legislation of WA and to meet the needs of the plumbing and gasfitting industry.

This course will provide the learner with practical skills and knowledge to carry out plumbing and gas fitting applications in both the commercial and domestic sectors of the industry.

Plumbing and gasfitting is a declared trade in WA and the Plumber's Licensing Board will issue a Tradesperson's Certificate on successful completion of the course.

In addition, Energy Safety will issue a Class G gas fitting permit to meet the requirements of the trade.

Drainage Traineeship

Certificate II of Drainage (Drainage Traineeship)

This course targets those entering the plumbing and gasfitting trade. Successful completion will provide articulation into an indentured apprenticeship (Certificate III) in the plumbing and gasfitting trade.

This course is a traineeship pathway. It consists of 12 weeks of training in classroom and workshop delivery.


Pre-Apprentice Scholarship

A $500.00 scholarship is available to all students who successfully complete their Pre Apprenticeship course.

This scholarship is subsidised by the Construction Training Fund.

$200 Training Voucher for Small Business

To be eligible for this $200 Training voucher, you will need to have an ABN and you must employ less than 20 people.
