Migrant Gap Training
Course
(Certificate III in Plumbing)
Course
Outline
|
CPC32408 |
The Migrant Gap Training
Course for the Certificate III in Plumbing (CPC32408) assists
in developing the plumbing knowledge of new migrants working
in the plumbing and gasfitting industry.
Overseas workers seeking employment in the
plumbing trade are assessed in their country of origin against
the minimum technical competencies required for plumbing
work in this country. The application and assessment process
is co-ordinated and maintained by VETASSESS and registered
training organisations such as MPA Skills.
Even though assessment of an overseas plumber
will confirm their range of relevant technical skills, they
would naturally not be conversant with all of the specific
Australian knowledge requirements for the plumbing trade.
This course includes training in local OHS codes of practice,
employment conditions, expectations, the Building and Plumbing
Codes of Australia, Australian Standards, Australian safety
signage and plumbing and services regulatory requirements.
This course is delivered on
demand. Please contact us on (08) 9471 6600 for information
on the next course.
See the Migration WA website
for accurate and current information on skilled migration.
